Adding fructose increases your gut’s saturation point for processing carbs, allowing you to digest and absorb nearly 50% more carbohydrates than using glucose or fructose alone. This particular glucose-to-fructose ratio has been well studied over the last decade and has shown to be the key to success for high-carb fueling methods.
