Ginny is a retired Elite level triathlete who raced Triathlon competitively for 11 years. Throughout her race career, she completed 18 70.3s, placing 1st (15) or 2nd (3) in her AG. She made three trips to 70.3 WC, placing 5th in her age group in one, four times finishing 140.6, placing 1st in two, and 2nd and 3rd in the other two. She KQ 3 times, and raced Kona twice, placing in the top 10 in her AG the second time there.
In 2021, Ginny broke her ankle and needed surgery. Despite bouncing back from other surgeries and injuries over the years, this one turned out to be a career-ender. However, as a lifelong athlete, this opened the door for other opportunities, and last summer Ginny decided to enter a couple of gravel events. She had a blast and plans to continue her gravel journey this year.
