Into the Jungle of NAPALM and TRiPWIRE

Into the Jungle of NAPALM and TRiPWIRE

This is my world. I get to come up with new ideas on how to solve issues for endurance athletes. I did this after a 15-year banking career. Yes, I am lucky to do what I do.
Get Off Your Butt

Get Off Your Butt

It’s winter time and I’m telling you to get off your butt. I’m not calling you lazy or to tell you to stop sitting on the couch. In fact, it’s important to take some time off and rest the body. A rest period will allow the body to reset both mentally and physically. This doesn’t mean you have to stop exercising but by giving a pause to your usual sport you can make yourself better at your specific sport.
A Note from the Chief Powder Maker

A Note from the Chief Powder Maker

We hope that this note finds all of our INFINIT family with your feet up, getting an extra hour in your favorite chair after a long and successful season. It has been an amazing ride for the past 12 months here at INFINIT headquarters. We are blessed to continue to grow our business, but have still maintained the important personal relationships with our customers. I still see customers’ names that were the early adapters 11 years ago!

I raced primarily Olympic and Sprint triathlons until doing my first Iron distance race, Challenge Atlantic City in 2014. I ran a 3:08 marathon and won! Meet Team INFINIT: Rob Barlow

Meet Team INFINIT: Rob Barlow

I climbed Colorado’s 100 highest mountains without using a car. While most people who climb in Colorado wake up at about 5,000’ and drive a motor vehicle hundreds of miles to a trailhead at 9,000’ to 11,000’, I did not. On July 1, 2016, I started at the Four-Way trailhead outside of San Luis, Colorado, a full twelve miles north of the New Mexico border. On September 9, 2016, after climbing 104 peaks and biking peak to peak, I summited Longs Peak and finished my journey at the Longs Peak ranger station in Northeast Colorado.

Ryan Petry Takes on Leadville

Saturday August 13th is the return of one of the oldest and most well-known endurance mountain bike races in the world, the Leadville 100.  Leadville hosts some of the biggest names in the sport and has come to be known as one of the most physically demanding races in the United States.  With a starting elevation of over 10,000 feet and climbs reaching 12,000 this 100-mile trek challenges even the toughest riders.  As a race that was originally started on 1994 as an effort to bring work to Leadville's mining community, Leadville has grown in publicity and popularity substantially over the last two decades. The race originally had 150 participants and has grown to 1,400 today, all whom must earn a spot or be selected to compete.
